My interest in music began at age 16; I started  taking piano lessons,
then through the encouragement of my grand mother I began to develop
my voice, as a singer and songwriter.
I was involved with several musical groups i.e. Midnight Blue and Bixby
147 in high school and shortly following graduation. During my involvement
in these various groups  I played Bass, and sang, although my inclination
was always toward trying to develop my own music.
In 1999 I left the Santa Cruz area, and moved up to the Donner
Summit area to focus on reading, writing, walking, guitar picking and
songwriting. Little did I know that this two year period would lead to the
songs that appeared on my first CD "The Last Train to Denver."
In the Fall on 2000 I packed up what could fit in my beat up old truck
and headed East....ultimately I found a home in Austin, Texas. Since then
I have resided here and have been focused on music and songwriting. I
have released two independent albums, " the last Train to Denver"
(released March 2001) and "The Kitchen Sessions" release January 2005.
I continue to play around town frequently at small parties, festivals,
local fairs and a few clubs.
I hope you enjoy the site....drop me a line sometime.
